As the 2025 holiday season unfolds, we are once again reminded of the power of gratitude, community, and the joy of giving. At Smiles of Winter Haven, we believe that creating healthy smiles goes beyond the dental chair—it’s about building trust, compassion, and connection. That spirit was on full display during our fourth annual participation in the Smiles for the Community Free Dental Care Day.
On November 15, our sister practice Lee Dental Care in Fort Myers, FL opened its doors for a full day of free dental services, partnering once again with Smiles for the Community, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing essential dental care to those who need it most.
A Day Rooted in Gratitude and Service
This year’s event was our biggest yet. Thanks to our dedicated, we proudly served 310 patients, performing:
- 123 cleanings
- 154 extractions
- 58 fillings
For many, these treatments are life-changing, offering relief from pain, renewed confidence, and improved overall health.
While the numbers are significant, the real story lies in the moments of connection, in the heartfelt thanks, the happy tears, and the shared sense of purpose in the air.
A Community United by Care
This special day wouldn’t be possible without the collaborative efforts of the Blue Sea Dental family. Dental professionals from our sister practices came together as one team, driven by a shared mission: to serve with compassion and dignity.
We were also honored to partner once again with the Harry Chapin Food Bank, ensuring patients left not only with healthier smiles but also with food for their families. Students from Cape Coral Technical College’s School of Barbering generously offered free haircuts, helping patients look and feel their best from head to toe.
And of course, we made sure no one left hungry. With complimentary lunch, the day felt more like a friendly gathering than a clinical visit.
