Dr. Alvarez brings world-class training and genuine, patient-centered care to Smiles of Winter Haven. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and completed a highly competitive two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at UConn Health, one of the most respected programs in the country, serving as Chief Resident during her time there. Her training includes complex surgical procedures such as extractions, bone grafting, and dental implants, along with experience treating medically complex patients. With additional experience as a Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist, she understands the patient experience from every angle.
