Dr. Rueda’s educational journey started with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the prestigious Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry.

Before joining Smiles of Winter Haven, Dr. Rueda gained valuable experience as a Dentist at a private dentist office here in Florida. Her prior experiences have honed her skills and enriched her commitment to providing exceptional dental services.

Born in Colombia, Dr. Rueda’s family moved to Miami when she was a young child. An animal lover, she is devoted to her long-time companion, Muneca, a Yorkie who has been with her since before she began her dental career. Additionally, Dr. Rueda’s compassion extends to fostering rescue dogs and nursing them back to health.

In her free time, Dr. Rueda indulges in her passions for travel and visiting Florida’s famous theme parks. As an avid cook and foodie, she delights in preparing culinary delights, a skill she learned from her mother.

Dr. Rueda is multilingual, proficient in both English and Spanish, with an understanding of Portuguese and Italian, which enables her to better communicate with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
